The B.Sc in Computer Science at SKAUP University of Business & Technology (SUBT) equips students with the knowledge and skills to design, build, and maintain software and computing systems. Students learn core areas such as algorithms, programming, data structures, computer architecture, software engineering, and networks. Graduates are prepared for roles in tech development, systems analysis, cybersecurity, and research.
Delivered through SKAUP’s Connected Classroom, the course offers flexible online learning, regular assessments, hands-on practical labs, and access to the Innovation Centre. Curriculum is aligned with Nigerian University Commission (NUC) guidelines, and prepares students for certifications and recognition from key bodies in Nigeria, West Africa, and internationally.
The B.Sc Computer Science is a four-year programme structured to build from foundational computing and mathematics to advanced topics and real-world applications. Sample modules include:
For 100 Level entry: Five O’Level credits (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and two other science subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.
JAMB UTME is not required for initial application, but must be regularised post-admission for NYSC eligibility.
For 200 Level (Direct Entry): National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least Lower Credit in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields; or two A-Level passes in Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent subjects. International applicants require equivalent qualifications and an IELTS score of 6.0 (or an approved equivalent).
If entry requirements are not fully met, our foundation pathway or CPD courses provide bridging options. Admissions comply with Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) guidelines and prioritise equity for diverse learners.
