Programme Overview

The B.Sc. in Cyber Security at SKAUP University empowers students to safeguard information and combat cyber threats that impact businesses, technology, and society. Guided by SUBT’s mission to empower individuals through learning and enterprise, this programme blends foundational knowledge in computing, networking, and risk management with advanced applications in ethical hacking, cryptography, and incident response.

It develops future-ready graduates equipped with tools to address Africa’s pressing challenges, such as skills mismatches and graduate unemployment, by integrating theory with practical, market-driven skills. Delivered through SKAUP’s robust Connected Classroom—a state-of-the-art Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), this programme offers flexible online study, hands-on projects, and access to the SKAUP Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (SKAUP-IC). Here, students can nurture their entrepreneurial credentials, turning cybersecurity ideas into viable start-ups or university spin-offs.
