The B.Sc in Accounting at SKAUP University of Business & Technology (SUBT) trains students to understand, manage, interpret, and communicate financial information. With a grounding in accounting principles, business law, taxation, auditing, and financial reporting, graduates are prepared to play key roles in the financial operations of businesses, government agencies, non-profits, and entrepreneurial ventures.
Delivered via SKAUP’s Connected Classroom, students benefit from flexible online study, practical case studies, regular assessments, and engagement with the SKAUP Innovation Centre. The curriculum aligns with Nigerian University Commission (NUC) standards and is designed to prepare learners for professional certifications with ICAN (Nigeria), ANAN (Nigeria), ICAG (Ghana), and the regional body ABWA, as well as international institutions such as ACCA and CIMA.
The B.Sc. Accounting is a four-year programme structured to progress students from essential financial and business fundamentals through to specialised and professional accounting practice. Sample modules include:

Nigerian Peoples and Culture (Focus on foundational accounting and business literacy.)
For 100 Level entry: Five O’Level credits (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and two other science subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings. JAMB UTME is not required for initial application, but must be regularised post-admission for NYSC eligibility.
For 200 Level (Direct Entry): National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least Lower Credit in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields; or two A-Level passes in Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent subjects. International applicants require equivalent qualifications and an IELTS score of 6.0 (or an approved equivalent).
